A friend from the local club had this question for me:

A number of years ago I got an aftermarket set of decals for a Marauder. The company is no longer in business. On the history and instructions it says this unit used an "odd" green for the upper surfaces. They give me the info. as medium green #42. "Pro Modeler" #88-0029 and/or Floquil #303128 / 303172. I have not been able to find any paints like this any where. Looked on that paint chart you sent out with no luck as well.

Any ideas?

According to ONE link I found, the equivalent for Floquil 303128 is Tamiya XF 58 Olive Green. The NEW Polly Scale number for that is Polly Scale 505390 Tac Medium Green FS 34102.

Personally I think that's a bit too dark and not nearly weathered enough for a B-26. I would look into the Life Color Weathered Olive Drab instead.

Hope that helps.

PS: I came up totally empty on EVERY other search I tried. Those Floquil numbers do not match ANYTHING on the Testor's web site even for the RailRoad enamel line. I wonder if those are a discontinued line of military enamels?

The paint is nothing more like the Dark Green (olive green) colour. It is known as RAF Dark Green FS 34092 as well. Floquil classic 303128 , Polly Scale 500704, Tamiya XF-58 Olive Green ( also called Tamiya XF 58 Matt Olive Grün), It is the same colour used for camo of P-40s. Of course there was the US equivalent made by Du Pont firm. For Du Pont Dark Green FS 34092 - Floquil classic 303172, Gunze H302, Humbrol 149, Model Master 1764 or 50164.

Where did you find the color chips / equivalencies for the Floquil Classics? I couldn't find them anywhere!
