2. Would be pretty if it were the regular Ju-52 instead of the test bed. Ill give her unique though since I have a fond spot for the Tante Ju.

I would just love to drop into the Sun 'n Fun Fly-In next year in that
very un-Piper like PA-22! The beauty of even ugly aircraft is in the
inventiveness and pure spirit of creating something to fly.

I gotta hand it to Blackburn. They stuck with the look until the end.

Training version of the Fairey Battle, a light British bomber of the early Second World War. Resembles two Hurricanes in heat...

Smokey, thanks very much for posting the great photos. Several types I've never heard of before. 8)

Of this group I'd say the Westland Pterodactyl is certainly the oddest looking, although there's something about the Beardmore Inflexible I just can't put my finger on...........are those mag wheels?

The Blackburn Blackburn is homely, but not ugly.......I feel sort of sorry it. Same comment for the Avro Bison.

Odd thing, I just noticed that the Inflexible, Blackburn and Bison all have port holes, maybe they really wanted to be boats.
