Father Flanagan was the creator of "Boys Town" and was asked to visit Japan by Gen. MacArthur to give advice on improving conditions for the youth in the postwar era.

Forgotten heroes.

Statue of Three Human Bullet Soldiers.
On Feb. 22, 1932, three IJA privates Inosuke Sakue, Susumu Kitagawa and Takeji Eshita carried out suicide attack on the barbed wire barrier to destroy holding a bomb in Miaoxing Town, Shanghai. To remember them, a statue was built in 1934 but removed after the ww2 was over.
