I don't think those are PT-13s. The shapes of the wing tips, rudder and elevators are wrong.

It does look yellow. It could be white.

Thanks for your reply!
What you show above is the standard (most common) practice for Chutai-colours in the Sentai. Some time ago I was dealing with the question what is the colour of the Sentai-markings in two very particular cases: Ki-44s of Makoto Ogawa and Yoshio Yoshida. Both known as members of the 3rd chutai, thus should have yellow markings.

I never believed this theory - the marking was too dark to be yellow, compared with the red hinomaru.
After months of comparing sources and searching through the newer ones I found this:

So as per the above the first Chutai had red markings, not white.
I personally have never seen 70th Sentai Ki-44 with white markings - maybe they existed but photos are not easy to find.

Henryk Ożarek "Henio" (left) and Tadeusz Przybyszewski "Roma" (right) from "Anna" Company of "Gustaw" Battalion in
the region of Kredytowa-Królewska Street. "Henio" holds "Vis" pistol and "Roma" shoots from Błyskawica submachine gun.

The pistol looks like the love child of a 1911 and a Colt auto 38.
