Great shot of an F3F. One of the more interesting aspects is that you can see the carburetor intake just below the top lip of the cowl. None of the pictures in the Profile publication show this feature. On the 1/32 Monogram F3F model, the carb air intake is behind the cowl and sticks up above it, a feature that apparently is unique to the Gulfhawk version of the F3F, which the model kit is based on.

Bonn was chosen for West Germany's new capitol after WWII. A 8th AF navigator offered an explanation why. The night before one mission he was was listening to music by Beethoven. The next day they found both their primary and secondary targets were socked in. He was ordered to find another target, any target in Germany that they could use to get rid of the bombs before heading home. Turned out that Bonn was in the clear but he had read on the record sleeve that Beethoven was from Bonn and decided he could not bomb the place. So he found another city and they dropped the bombs there. Bonn was chosen as the new capitol because it had suffered less damage than the other cities. Beethoven's music saved Bonn.
