According to his pay record, this could be at his parents home in Saint Louis before his embarkment for overseas service.
I have others pictures from him in the Brest Peninsula during his war service in France and another one developped in Germany.
Interestingly, my single vintage WW 2 color picture is from him.
If someone is interested, I can post them.
