Great pic of Warspite. Am not fully convinced the carrier is Ark Royal: she doesn't appear 'tall' enough to have a double hangar, and I don't think the Ark ever had the radar mast aft of the island. Am thinking Illustrious, Formidable or Victorious. Thoughts?
 
A.R.P. wardens are being given advanced instruction by means of tactical table. These toy towns, miniature models of their particular borough equipped with tiny models. A.R.P. personnel, enable them to get a birds eye view of what is likely to happen in a raid and of the part they are expected to play. A.R.P. wardens gathered round their borough map with its tiny models July 17, 1940. A mock raid is in process with pieces of paper as bombs. As these fall the wardens must push the personnel and apparatus into their right position on the map.
