Great pic! The ship appears to be a cruiser of the Katori class. The midship catapult indicates it was before these vessels were given enhanced AA fits to act as escorts

Fantastic pic. The first ... 9 (?) off the liine didn't have the reduced dihedral outboard of the engines, I believe. It is noticeable in this pic

I can look for the link.Great photo, Nakajima A2N Type 90 Carrier Fighter, this combined technology from the Bristol Bulldog and Boeing 100 fighter. If the photo is in Tokyo, it is probably the Naval Air Station at Kasumigaura, near the shore of Tokyo Bay. It looks like a ceremony, perhaps inducting the type into service? The main service examples, A2N2s dispensed with the wheel spats.
