I think I've already posted this photo in the closed thread "Girls and planes" (or whatever the correct name was). Does anybody know to what flying school does the B-25J belong? The alpha-numeric marking (T6 I guess, could be TC though) with letters/digits in two different rows was not very common.

Thank you for your answer and for the idea to check that site (I completely forgot it!) IMHO those are the "old style" markings with the T-xxx (or other letters) shown. Like this B-25D - definitely from Mather field:

Or this one (probably MF as well even if the photo was made in Texas):

But I believe towards the end of the war they changed the markings at least 2 times to come with some different designs like the one below:

1928, I doubt it; it seems to be in a PT 19 which entered service in 1940.

Just a bit of trivia for those obcessed with trim, the vertical white fuselage stripes do not signify any thing but necessity. The fabric on the SB2U fuselages was deteriorating and there was not enough fabric to recover them, so the widest tape from the medics was used to repair the seems at the formers.
