Perhaps Air America? Probably not civilian at Da Nang. That is alot of hostility aimed at that poor C-45! Or is it a civilian Beech 18?

It's one of Air America's C-45Gs, possibly N77Y.That is alot of hostility aimed at that poor C-45! Or is it a civilian Beech 18?
Ed good call on Air America I found this picture of an Air America C-45 online, the Paint scheme looks Identical to my eyes.Perhaps Air America? Probably not civilian at Da Nang.
I saw this picture in Air Pictorial @1962-I think it was a SEATO exercise with the New Zealanders, Australians and the US Navy
The Phantom has the lower rear of the sliding portion of the canopy covered in metal, with a curved lower edge - Banshee has the sliding portion of the canopy fully clear with a nearly straight lower edge.Though I should be able to, unless the Phantom and the Banshee are parked beside each other I find it difficult to tell them apart. The Banshee is like 25-35% larger then the Phantom.

Mini Buff's. And I'm quite sure that the deployment to England from Why not Minot was a welcome reprieve to the crew's as it would be considerably warmer.A U.S. Air Force B-52H Stratofortress aircraft assigned to the 69th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron, Minot Air Force Base, N.D., arrives in support of Bomber Task Force 25-2 at RAF Fairford, England, Feb. 11, 2025. U.S. Strategic Command BTF missions provide opportunities to train and work with our Allies and partners in joint and coalition operations and exercises.

Never one to be judgmental but, 1/144? ARE YOU TOKING WAKY WEED? Oh sorry that probably came out the wrong way, pay no attention to the previous statement……This popped up in my Phantom image search for GB65. Now imagine this with 3 Phantoms on it in 1/144 scale. I have my base for this build.

I am the modeling Hobbit on this forum. My main scale is 1/72 but modern jets or bombers are 1/144. Yes, it is small. It is alsocheapcost effective. I don't have a ton of display space. Imagine these jets as the size of a 1/48 cockpit; they are simpler and the parts you get are larger than the parts in modern kits. I follow the 1/48 scale builds and I'm blown away by the nuance that I see all the time. The 1/32 builds, are mystical and I feel the same way about them that you "normal" builders feel about me.![]()
And the F-111 looks fast whilst parked...This popped up in my Phantom image search for GB65. Now imagine this with 3 Phantoms on it in 1/144 scale. I have my base for this build.

The planes are F-4; F-111; F-15 and Belgian Mirage.
Xcept that wing position is only used when parked on the ground. And the F-111 looks fast whilst parked...
Still...Xcept that wing position is only used when parked on the ground.
One of only a handful of L-26s that went to the USAF; most to the Army and two to the Navy. Famously the smallest aircraft to carry the "Air Force One" callsign.View attachment 818040
