Unfortunately it lost the Ugliest Ever Naval Aircraft contest to the Fairey Gannet. But it was a good try!

To prove out the Snark guidance system initially the systems was installed in the former location of the upper turret in a P-61. The P-61 took off, switched on the Snark guidance, and the pilot watched to see where it was taking them.Northrop-bailed EDF-89B Scorpion and N-69 Snark.
