La-15, so much like the Mig-15, if it wasn't for that higher mounted wing, you'd never know.
Smaller and lighter than the Mig-15, with a less powerful engine.
There was a Nene engined version of the La-15 ("168") - it managed to outperform MiG-15 in almost all characteristics. La-15 was technologically more complicated and less suited for mass production, but this problem was not critical and could be solved afterwards.
