Polyurethane or Future?

I want to put a clear coat on a model I just made. I have heard to use Pledge Future polish, but I have some water-based Polyurethane on hand, I was wondering if I could use it over acrylic paint? Thanks.

I would suggest checking the reaction of these acrylic paints to the Polyurethane. Just apply some of any paint on a piece of sprue frame. Then let it get dry and then apply the varnish. If it doesn't destroy the coat you can use it.
