Card is an amazing media to work with and some of the modelers out there are masters of the craft. I've been switching to card from plastic due to pricing and I can tell you, it's not as easy as plastic.

I read that article. Quite interesting that it's quite possibly the best 1/48 Mustang out there now. Until, of course, potentially Airfix and Eduard get on the bandwagon at the expense of the one Terry and I are waiting for......

Finally found a price at Home Page | HobbyLink Japan for 36.13$US, shipping not included. Not too bad until you factor in a weak Canadian dollar. I'll bide my time...

Nice site, was not aware of that one. But like you mentioned the shipping adds up. I became an Amazon Prime member last year and the free 2 day shipping is hard to beat, of course you don't always find what you want at a reasonable (or any) price on Amazon.
