The builder admits to more than one but you try finding them. An impressive piece.

Looks good. A Spitfire or Mustang in Bare Metal Finish? I'd be leaning towards Spitfire...

[Matt308]

Reminds me of the Japanese? (or maybe Indian?) modeler that did the F4U. Anyone remember that thread?

[Heinz]

anyone know the time that took the builder, would have been an epic build.

[HealzDevo]

Could someone tell me what the bare metal finish aircraft is as I don't think it was mentioned... Are the leds where the cannons flash from?

[Soundbreaker Welch?]

I simple, but fatal flaw for such a beautiful model.

I didn't think of that. Makes one feel better, don't it?

But that is a Beautiful plane! Spitfire, right? It could certainly pass off as lifelike in a movie production that's in need of some prop planes.

I imagine that is not just a painted, bare metal finish? Rather an aluminum, foil or other metal finish of sorts?

[HealzDevo]

Perfect wonderfully done.

Yeah, yeah, you are right Matt. There was the thread about the metal madels year ago.Corsair and Mustang as memory serves and the author of them comes from Japan. But it is all I remember.

[Matt308]

Here it is. This should be in the Model Hall of Fame. I've yet to see anything which approaches this level of detail, understanding and intracacy.

Take a look at this beauty... not a WW2 aircraft. An 1:72 A-90 Orlyonok Ekranoplan, scratch built ofcourse. I think those machines have a certain mysterious attraction...

Finished A-90 Ekaronplan
