Another one done!

Airfix 1:48 Supermarine Spitfire PR.XIX here finished as a Swedish S.31

The lower wing was a bit erm wavy, solved with a hair dryer and gluing it a bit at a time - still not perfect but it at least looks ok now

Tail control surfaces and wheel posed to copy a photograph of Spitfire Mk.IX MH434 I took when I must have been actually 12 rather than just mentally

Great stuff and I really love the Wildcats! That is Jmmy Thach's plane, right? I'm also a sucker for pre-war USN/USAAC paint jobs.
I like the prewar paint as well. Getting ready to do an early F4F and early SBD in 1941 overall light grey. Makes a really good looking plane. I have a TBD on here that is in overall grey. Greet looking. Also a Brewster Buffalo. Yes that is Thatch. Many thanks for the compliment.

1/48 Tamiya P-38J Lightning
Just finished this one, mostly out of the box, I added Eduard seat harness, fine wire for radios and .010 lead wire for hydraulic lines. Tires and wheels are resin block tread with covers from Ultracast. Markings for Capt Walter Duke, 459th FS Twin Dragons were a combination of home cut vinyl masks and custom decals for personal markings and white outlines.
