Heres a few shots from the Presidential section at the USAF Museum in Dayton. I've only included the prop jobbies in this lot. Didnt take too many this time as I was getting 'kinda moist' at being right next to the Experimental section with Valkyrie in it and couldnt wait to get in there and see that bird !!!!!

And neither will your nostrils if you plan on visiting. Some of those planes had a peculiar odor to them, but it was still pretty cool to go there. Next door is the experimental aircraft hangar. You have to take two trips to see everything, it's just awesome. I recommend it.

    Absolutely !!!

If its OK with our mods, I am quite happy to do some threads on the other parts of this Museum...Cold War, Experimental, WW1 and the early years, modern etc. But, be warned, they will have a LARGE number of photo's !!!

I havent posted any piccies from these parts of the Musuem cos I'm concious that this site is WW2 oriented and I do have ....errrrr....one or two  shots with them newfangled jets in.

Let me know and if OK, I can get some on here later tonight.

I had a great time looking at the presidential and experimental plane. Plan heading to the museum on sunday for my 5th time in eight months now I think.
