My good lady and I took a trip across town today to get some special sausage rolls that we had taken a liking too. While she got the rolls I nipped two doors up to the only model shop (Toys Are Us) in town. Now I am set to join Ralph's unofficial GB with the B109-E3.

This landed from Hannants today. Only spent nearly 3 weeks in UK Customs before taking a whole 3 days to get to me once shipped (I thought Australian shipping and customs sucked, but the UK seems to be taking it to a whole new level...). Happy to finally get it anyway!!

Some great decals for upcoming Yellow Wings aircraft, swastika's just because some manufacturers just don't include them any more, and stencils for my Airfix Hurricane Mk I. So many projects, so little time :signsigh:.

My wife's gifts arrived (her contribution to my collection). Beautiful as advertised.

Been re-stocking on materials and tape etc, and collecting accessories for the B-24 diorama project, with the first deliveries arriving today.
Still waiting for some .50 cal ammo boxes and ammo belts (from Czech Republic), some flexible .50 cal ammo chutes from MDC, and a couple of decal sheets of small USA letters and stars, which should arrive soon. Also waiting for some spare parts Karl sent me, a week ago, to be used for a two-seat "Buchon" conversion. I'd been trying to figure out the best way to make the B-24 oxygen bottles, then spotted these new Eduard additions when searching for other stuff.
(note that the compressed air cylinders are destined for use with a 1/48th scale Lancaster diorama, to be used with an existing set on a re-supply trailer).
I'm also assembling an order for some more "Evergreen" materials, but I'll hold-off actually ordering until after the Christmas "silly season", just in case the mail goes t*ts up !
