I now have the 3 PBY-5s I needed to make one of each New Zealand related variant:
Consolidated PBY-5 and Boeing PB2B-1, operated by the RNZAF, plus a Catalina Mk.1B, operated by No.490 (NZ) Sqn. RAF.

Also have the (now surplus) PBY-4 and -5A, both claimed by my son, and my daughter wants me to make my other -5A for her. How can you say no to that?

Harry Davidson was the pilot of the first launch of a Hurricane from a cargo ship.
Mk.I serial L2179, not the one in the second photo. Still searching for the 232 Sqn codes.

These are the decals for the aforementioned project and one of the others. I do have 1 B-25, 6 F4F, 2 TBF, 4 SBD, 1 SOC-3 and 1 PBY-5. I might add more, but the Japanese aircraft have priority.

Monogram made a -5A in 1:48 scale, since reboxed by Revell.
