Built one way back in a GB Evan, in a diorama and it had a twisted wing that I had to sort out. Sadly had to let it go when we moved, no place to stow or show it.Those wings would be big in 1:48 Vic!
Monogram made a -5A in 1:48 scale, since reboxed by Revell.

I have a -5 but I want a -5A. Most of the WWII markings and uses seem to be 5A's with the gear. Seems the more austere (Black Cats) FOB's used them where they didn't need to attach the gear.The price on a 1/48 Catalina today is....
