Thank you for the information, now that's bacon!Artwork is awesome, but in error the Lead foreground aircraft is correct and represents the Hikotaicho Lt. Cmdr. Shigeharu Murata in AI-311 with the 3 Yellow Command stripes attacking USS West Virginia.
the aircraft in the background also shows 3 Command Stripes this is not correct this aircraft should have a Single yellow strip below the tail code and should represent AI-308 flown by Shotaicho Lt. Junichi Goto whose torpedo is launched against USS Oklahoma, both scoring the first hits against Battleship row.
The 3rd Aircraft shouldn't be there as it was flying directly behind Goto's aircraft some 400-500m behind him.....
