Yeah Vic, that Ho IX is expensive in small scale too - not helped by the fact that the 1:72 and 1:144 kits are sold together. You can't buy them seperately.
I think that was a very bad marketing move, and it wouldn't surprise me if they lost alot of sales over it. (especially for the 1:144 scale modellers who have to pay for the 8 or so sprues of the 1:72 kit just to get their 2-sprue 1:144 kit!)

Plus these. This is my first summer project once school is over. I am so exhausted I can't wait for school to end June 12. I am going to make two of these. Bi-planes fascinate me, especially the unusual ones.
I do have the Eduard Albatros D.III 253s. it's a good thing I purchased five of them as they are very pricey now, $40 USD and up.

I have not built a car model since I was in Highschool but could not resist this one. Its a perfect match for one my collage roommate's father had. He collected Chevy convertibles, and this was one he had bought but not fixed up yet, and my roommate, me, and a couple other guys drove it down to Daytona Beach for spring break 1982 without it breaking down.

Just picked up from my LHS for GB-68. This is "probably" the last purchase this year as I have everything I need for Twin. I have a local model show I'm planning to attend in September so that's a possibility.
