Went a a bit of a tear but I now have all but Home Country Group Build subjects sitting on my shelves. I had been looking at these subjects all summer but have been conflicted by the four part matirx of kit purchase. Two have to due with the subject matter; and two with availability. Is this particular subject a plane that I feel really strong and motivated to build; and does it fit into my overall theme. Also do I wait to see if I can get a better price while risking that it goes out of stock. Here are the GB kits.

Top is for Recon; this is a high back Griffon to sit next to my contra-prop. Next is for Start of WW2; I don't have a Hurri in the museum and this is a contrast to the Spits. The P-40 is for Pacific and will be with the Pearl Harbor Zero. Plus these were under $25 in total.

I want a "History of Jets" and Me262 is the obvious choice as the first combat effective jet. In this scale I have the Viggen; two Tomcats and a Harrier I built years ago. The SPAD is one of my favorite biplanes.

I've always been interested in the history of the Hornet from YF-17 thru the Super Hornet and how they are essentially 3 different aircraft. There is a kit of the YF-17 but it's a C note. ($100) Note to self; I will leave my sig the F-4 until I build one.
