I have heard some nice words about the Milliput's ones so I think you can try to these.:D Personally I use the Tamiya putty.

Went on a wee shopping spree this morning at my local hobby shop downtown....
As you can see, I couldn't leave without another kit...

Since I remember me having slight problems keeping my hands off things that were drying as a kid, I think that I'll play it safe this time, and build them both at the same time, to keep my hands busy (no NJ, not THAT kinda busy!) for things to settle properly....

Even if it means maybe to clean brushes and airbrush more often, it'll be worth it!

Just need to find proper decals to make codes and serials....paint and some more tools.

November 1942-November 1943: Night fighter duties from Algeria and Sicily
November 1943-January 1945: Intruder duties over Balkans.

Question is though, did they use the nightfighter version of the Mk VI for the intruder missions, where they at night?

Wasn't too sure where to put this question, but since this thread is rather busy, I'll put my question here....

How many builds did you guys have under your belt, before you built your first NMF machine?

Which NMF finish is the best and easiest to use?

Iv'e stayed away from NMF as I am an Acrylics paint person...done a few with Tamiya's Silver or Aluminium but have not really liked the finish....

This George Preddy P-51 was done in the Tamiya Aluminium colour....

However I think I have found my Silver for NMF finish...I now need to build an aircraft....looking at a Mig 15 to see how an overall finish will look.

My recent GINGA has the 'new' acrylic Silver NMF undersides....which looks way better than the Tamiya colour.

So, I'd like to try the Alclad for my NMF machines, but I'm thinking that I should get a few under my belt, like the Mosquito, Beaufighter, PZL 37A and maybe something else before trying that, would that be a smart move, you know, to get used to the airbrush etc...

Sweet looking Mustang Wayne!
