Not the best in the world, but there usable if your careful. Just make sure you have a very glossy surface to put them on

Interesting stuff guys. Glenn, are the Testors models any good. I have heard a lot of negatives on them.

Aaron..hate to jump in on Glenn. I have the Testors P-47, P-51, and F8F Bearcat. All lack interior and wheel well detail. I bought them because they were cheap, not a bad fit, and the general outlines are okay. I'm going to buy some resin for my Tamiya P-51 and try to make it fit into the Testors. If it doesn't fit, it will go into the Tamiya.

Pretty much what George said. All the panel lines are raised and not much interior. Exterior is not quite as good as the Monogram models of the late 70's

Good catches there guys. Geo, as Glenn said, the ICM decals are usable, but be careful with the fine decals, such as the wing walk doted lines - they tend to break up. A coat of gloss clear before use is useful. The kit itself is nice, but needs attention especially on joining the fuselage - scrap plastic strips inside the edges help.
Got another addition to my BoB collection, on offer at a very reasonable £11.99, roughly $18. (kit includes spare parts to make a 'C' version.)

I was going to say, Terry, that I didn't think any E's were ready at the time of the BoB but good thing there are parts for the C.

The ICM decals I've used can be strange - almost like plastic and repel decal solutions - but they can look nice.

Evan, as a strict 1/48 builder, it's a 1/48 D. Not sure if they made a B but that would be cool.

I think Tamiya did a B (were talking about Tamiya right? ) in 1/48 kinda reminded me of Monogram's P-51B both in 1/48
