I did this old Hase a couple of years ago,and the decals laid down rather well. Sorry the pics are sh!tty

Some good catches there Glenn. The Roden Gladiators aren't bad kits. Personally, I think the old (late 1960s) 'Inpact' kits have a very slight edge in some areas, including 'Invisible' thread for rigging, included in the box. These kits were way ahead of their time back then, and have since been re-boxed under the Lindberg, Pyro and Lifelike labels. A good, cheaper alternative, if you ever want another Gladiator.
The Hobbycraft '109 series aren't bad either, and since re-boxed by Academy, who I think did the moulds in the first place.
 
I P/U the B-58 Hustler in 1/48 had built that when I was a kid and pic of the F-86 from last week.
