That's handy - the Airfix Spitfire Mk1 has the codes of Basil Whall, one of the subjects for my BoB 'Hardest Days' Collection !
I'll be getting a Meteor F8 or two methinks, and the price is still way below what the Classic Airframes example goes for !
 
Bit of a shame, in my case, that there's so much detail, as I'll be building it 'clean', with maybe just the canopy open, for the 56 Sqn Collection. Although the second one, for 74 Sqn, could maybe have things opened up !

The interior details will save me a lot of work, having already scratch-built some on the old Airfix kit - which still isn't too bad, considering it's age. The surface detail is a tad deep in places, but after primer, paint and clear coats, it should be fine.
