Great stuff Wayne. When that's all assembled and painted, it could look just like a recce photo !
Just to give me an idea of size, what's the approximate dimensions of the base, and that warehouse roof (?) on the fret on the left in the second pic ?

Terry the base measures 270mm wide x 160mm deep the shed is 30mm long x 24mm wide

Thanks Wayne. I think that must be about the same scale as some of the old buildings I have left over, I think from Fujimi kits from the early 1980's.

My PE-2 came in today, thought I would do a quick in box review.

All Zvezda kits come boxed with an outside shell.

and a sturdy inside cardboard box to hold the kit.

There are three bags of parts, Yes sir, yes sir three bags full. each contains two sprue trees (third on is more like four)

and a zip lock bag with decals and clear parts.

And the instructions are really very good! But study them because they will tell you how to build it with the engine bay open and then after all that work, how to if you did not want it open.
