I've used the Tamiya saw blades I've had a lot of issues as they crumple very very easily. I can only put slight pressure and have to use the blade in my had and not in a handle lest it crumples.
These Madworks blades are a bit heavier and stouter than the Tamiya blades and have the reinforcing bracing separate from the blade.
In this set there are three types of blades, two each and a separate fret with two different types of reinforcing bands, one each.
Theses as mention are of a heaver gauge then the Tamiya and require a bit more umph to fold.
They will fit into a hobby knife handle and can take more punishment then the Tamiya blades can.
No I'm not trying to sell them and as always each product has it own place, I think I like this product though and I'm happy I picked it up.
