All cheap and cheerful....

The Hannover by Eduard has to be one of their really early ones, same with the Hansa Brandenburg....

Hope to get a few more minutes tooling around with some styrene this weekend (KrAZ 255 and the Polish MiG 21), never lacked the mojo this long before and I don't like it! 😥

413586 (Hurry Home Honey) Maj Richard Peters and 41245 (Floogie II) Lt. Otto Jenkins

and lastly 413316 as Mildred and later as Nooky Booky II with Capt Leonard (Kit) Carson.

The set cost me $18.95 US free shipping, there are four different sets in the Yoxford boys sets. They are available from Sprue Brothers, Victory models and one or two other sites I found. These were a bit more from Victory Models but after S&H was figured in they were the least expensive.

This all goes with my Airfix P-51D-5NA (2 ea) as all but one of the planes a -5NA.

How does the Airfix kit compare to the Tamiya Mustang?
I haven't built the Airfix and so I can't give a full comparison BUTTTTT, the Airfix does look pretty good and it is around $30 dollars, I can get then for $18.00 at Hobby Lobby with the 40% coupon. That price point sets them well below the Tamiya. I've built the Tamiya and what can I say, though it's three decades or so old it's still an easy clean accurate build. I like the looks of the Airfix but gotta get er done to really compare, It might be a Mustang and it might be a Lipizzaner , and it might be an old mare!
