I forgot to mention this one. When it looked like the drug stores wouldn't resupply IPA before I ran out I bought a bottle of this for a test drive...

This 200ml bottle of concentrate can be diluted from 1:1 for old stubborn paint, 1:2 for paint that's been dry for a few days and 1:4 for day to day use. Diluted with ordinary tap water but I think I'll use distilled. According to the VMS site, its good for all acrylics so Andy, Crimea_River Crimea_River I'll give it a test drive with Vallejo when I get to spraying some. Of course, once this showed up in the mail, I found a box of IPA in Costco. If it works as advertised with Vallejo I'll use it strictly for this paint. They also make a thinner for acrylics and enamels as well and an acrylic paint stripper. A review...

I've been asked to build a 1/48th scale "Pathfinder" Mosquito, which may turn out to be a B.IX or B.XVI, so, seeing these 'Brengun' resin nacelles on special offer, I've ordered a set, which should be with me in a day or two.
I 'll be using the Tamiya B.IV kit, if a conversion is needed, as the Airfix B.XVI / PR.XVI needs a heck of a lot of wok, just to correct the nacelles, and a lot of effort elsewhere, as I found out when making a PR.IX from this very odd kit.
