The set cost me $18.95 US free shipping, there are four different sets in the Yoxford boys sets. They are available from Sprue Brothers, Victory models and one or two other sites I found. These were a bit more from Victory Models but after S&H was figured in they were the least expensive.

I haven't built the Airfix and so I can't give a full comparison BUTTTTT, the Airfix does look pretty good and it is around $30 dollars, I can get then for $18.00 at Hobby Lobby with the 40% coupon. That price point sets them well below the Tamiya. I've built the Tamiya and what can I say, though it's three decades or so old it's still an easy clean accurate build. I like the looks of the Airfix but gotta get er done to really compare, It might be a Mustang and it might be a Lipizzaner , and it might be an old mare!How does the Airfix kit compare to the Tamiya Mustang?
