I totally agree. I read the reviews for both and neither was kind. Sadly it's all we have. Hasegawa get busy! It's one the reasons I didn't have one, until now.

A question, why the pink?

Actually it is not the pink colour but a violet one. It was quite ofthen used for the WW1 German camouflage of planes. Regarding the Fokker E.V ... the wing was left in the orginal Fokker colours. However Fokker didn't use the topcoat paints but of the wood stain type. The wood stains were applied on the plywood skin of the wing with a brush making the characteristic smudges. Therefore there are the smudges seen in many pics of the Fokker planes. The colours were the Mocha Brown, Azur Blau, Azin Violet and Neu Echtgrün. Below the list of the colours used for the E.V ... So your pinky coat is the Azin Violet. Well, it can be said it was the WWI RLM 75.
