OK, I gave it a shot Jim. I liked the build but was a bit distracted by what else was going on, the old eyes kept roaming. Anyhoo, these showed up and I kept forgetting about them. 10 x .3mm drills, going by past practice, they should all be broken within a fortnight.

Same here mate.

Did a couple of raf jets and have a few others to do like a Phantom, Jaguar and Tornado but am just starting a collection of other jets, already have the F-14, and am looking for a decent priced F-18 next and maybe an F-15, F-16 too.

Cory, going by the build reviews it seems those that build it out of the box dont mention many problems, then those that point out its too short in length, the nose is the wrong shape the wheel wells dont have enough detail, the cockpit is too shallow etc, etc seem to have all the fit problems ?

so we will see when ever i get round to building the beast !

I promised, earlier this year, that as I had enough kits to keep me going for around 10 years, all I would buy, when they were released, would be the Revell RAF Ventura, and the Airfix Gnat.
Yeah, right - I also got two Starfighters, a MiG 17, Tornado, Harrier, two Mosquitos and ...er... a few more !
My new name is Pinnochio - and my nose keeps growing !!

Yeah, and I just got that Corsair, plus a couple months back I bought a Leopard C2 MEXAS, and then during the summer a bunch of other kits. Maybe this year will be different? Wouldn't mind a Hasegawa George...

I reckon I need to change my approach if I want to get through my stash and get more models done. I spend a lot of time on super detailing when I could maybe spend more on painting practice by doing more OOB.
