I nearly bought that kit a month or so ago, and from what I've seen, it's not bad at all overall. Only reason i didn't get it, was that I couldn't find that bl**dy magazine with the profiles in it !!
 
Great scores guys!

My latest: both 1:72 (of course!) and both to be RNZAF machines...

The Cessna 421 Golden Eagle is all thanks to Jim (Capt. Vick), as the model is only shipped within the USA (despite being made in Yugoslavia, as it turns out!).
Jim very kindly received it for me, and sent it on to me - THANKS mate!

The Vickers Vincent was ordered last september, and has FINALLY arrived(!), after a 5 month e-mail fight with the 3 different postal "services" who managed to bungle the delivery and lose it (for over 3 months!) 'somewhere between Ireland and France'... It actually crossed the channel 5 times before I was finally able to receive it!

What are you looking for Terry? Thanks Evan. According to Leading Edge Decal, I'll need to mix 3 colors to make the Blue top color.

Geo, it was a fairly recent magazine - can't remember if it was a modelling mag, or 'Aeroplane', I think the former - which had a detailed, illustrated article on the T-33, with a couple of pages of colour profiles of aircraft from various countries. I fancied doing either a RCAF bird in NMF, or a Luftwaffe example in grey/green camouflage.
I know the mag is here somewhere, but I'm still in the process of re-arranging a couple of rooms, so it's probably hidden under a pile of sh ... er... 'other important material' !
 
Well, my streak of not buying any kits has ended. Just ordered Special Hobby's F2G Super Corsair. I thought it was not available anymore, but Spruebrothers had it on sale so I snapped it up. I have regretted not buying it for years at the LHS before it disappeared. It says injected canopy, but it actually appears to be vacuform, which I'm not looking forward to.
