I think it IS the AM kit, AM just reboxed it I believe.

Nice Jan!

Wasn't it Accurate Miniatures originally, then re-boxed ? A few Italeri kits are re-boxed AM kits, and they've been re-boxed by others I believe.
Nice one Jan - I'll probably be using the same kit for the 'Unofficial OOB GB' some time.
Just won a Italeri Mirage IIIE at a good price too, although it's basic compared to the HB kit, having its origins from the ESCI moulds of the late 1970's.

Yeah, a bit on the pricey side.
I see that Italeri have a 1/32nd scale Mirage IIIC on the way as a future release too. Might be interested in that - unless it's the same price band as their recent Starfighters !

Terry, it is originally the Special Hobby kit, AM reboxed it apparently because at one time there were only about 1000 Special Hobby kits around.

True old bean, was gonna snap one up, until I saw the price, wonder what Revell would charge?

Ah, thanks Cory. I knew I'd seen it under another brand name at some time.

Yes Jan old bean, Revell would produce the kit with stripable engine, working missiles and flashing lights, and charger £20 !!!

Got these last week before I skipped off to Melbourne....for my Hobby Boss BV-141 and completed my set of Hobby Boss T-34's and also got the Viper while in melbourne.

Strange things happening - Wayne's pics weren't showing (I notice the edit, so presume they were added) and neither my reply or Jan's was showing in the thread, even though they were shown on the section posts, even after logging off and signing back in, ten minutes later. All's OK now, but between 09.30 and 09.45, strange things were afoot - or maybe a leg .....
Anyway, the 'Postie' just delivered this, 'won' off e-bay at around half the last retail price, and half the price of the same kit in it's latest two packaging options (Mirage aces).
Impressive package - old kit.
A rather neat, A4 colour brochure, and nice decals, but the kit itself has its origins in the old ESCI moulds, with a mix of raised and engraved panel lines and, by today's standards, fairly basic detail. But still a fairly good kit, although the relatively high retail price I presume is to cover the decals and packaging, as the plastic is half as good as the Hobby Boss kit, at twice the price.

Nice one Terry

The postperson dropped this one off today after I watched on the tracking site as it sat in the downtown Chicago post office for 4 days. Gotta love the USPS. The F-90 I recently received was sent 2 Day Priority Mail and only took 6 days to get here from the time the post office got there hands on it.

Anyway, looks like a nice little model though the panel lines might be a tad deep.
