Have one of those (not the same model though) with USB-charging. Hope your battery is not as weak as mine - I can't make a hole in a plastic card thicker than 0.5, 0.6mm and when tried to sand some plastic parts, the drill just stops. Hopefully you have better luck. Please inform us here.
I'll show in a few posts how I modified several mini-drills, nail polishers etc. to use them for modelling.

Will do mate. I wanted to try one after seeing a You tuber use one for restoring model cars. (different brand to mine though, his was a Dspiae)
This thing is half the size and weight of my Dremel, and it's cordless. Worth a try!

Let us know how it performs Evan, particularly the speed control. Many multi-tools are too fast for the majority of plastic work, and I found mine of limited use.

Tried it a little today, with the small polishing head.
Advertised as '3 speed'... Nope - no speed control.
(So far- ) works ok with light pressure, but is unforgiving if you push harder. Just the first use though, so we'll see how she goes with practice.

Hope so Evan.
Mine is mains powered, and variable speed, and similar to a Dremmel. As a tool, it's great, but for work on plastic it's really limited to grinding off unwanted "heavy" areas, maybe some drilling of thick surfaces, and a bit of polishing. It's too big, and even at the lowest speed setting, far too aggressive for precision work.
It's main use has been using the circular saw attachment for initial cuts on larger, thicker parts, which were then "tidied" using various razor saws.

Just arrived (and another, different one on the way). A basic kit from 0 Gauge model railway supplies, to be used as the basis for a Norman agricultural building in a 1/48th scale Panther Ausf. A Normandy diorama - when/if my hands start working again !

Thanks chaps, just hoping I can eventually get back to the bench. Maybe the first job should be repairing joints and re-activating control systems - that's my joints and control systems !!
An aircraft in my current condition would be permanently grounded, and a horse would be shot !
