If you are using Alley Cat decals, even though the sheet says "F6F-5K" with the coloured tails, it looks like all but one are actually F6F-3Ks or maybe early -5s with the rear window. I built one here in 2016 and there are a few reference photos there if you need them

I am using the Uprise decals. I have never used them. The photos would be helpful.

Those are cool. I built Option 2 but the aircraft is more orange than pink. The reference photos must be in a different thread but here is a good shot of the antennae you need

Just showed up. Got this to supplement my Ushci van der Rosten (UvdR) thread. I've heard the owner of the site is having health problems and people ordering from there are hit or miss getting orders filled. If you look closely at the arrow point you can see the thread. Handling UvdR is like handling spider web and half the time I've dropped it and didn't even know it. Hopefully this is a little more forgiving. These two spools should be all I will ever need; 45 metres here and probably 43 metres left on the UvdR spool

I have started a new NON AIRCRAFT project. A friend of mine has a 57 Chevy and I was asked to build a model of it. When he got it, I went to Deviant Art to see if I could commission a digital picture of his car. I found an artist whose style was just what I was looking for. The project was a complete success and was a huge hit when it was printed and framed. A year later, he contacted me that because of that print, Revell reached out to him to do some box art for them. To do this project, I have two Chevy kits, one is the better kit and the other is the box art which is a snap kit. It has a very specific wheel; hubcap; and tire combo and thanks to ebay; I was able to source everything I need.

I hope to get this done this year. I built a lot of car kits as a teenager, but I would rate them as the most difficult for me.
