Did a double take though when I read the start of the thread...my wife's name is Lynn!

It was a formula 1 racer.

Man, that is one small bird. I looked it up on the web and it is tiny. 0-200 engine on it.

Why would they lighten up the wings? Structure became unstable? Or just screwed with the airflow?

Either way, it's sad.
