I saw lots of young ladies and married women take tools in hand during the
war. My mother was a burner/welder for Maryland Drydock Co. They built
Liberty ships, Victory ships and the famous T-2 tankers.

Back in the 90's, my optomitrist was a B24 assembler down in San Diego.

She was probably the only eye doctor in the world that had pics of B24's on her walls.
