Thanks - that's right we were standing at Luffield during a test day. It is a good place to see the cars because they are slower. Very difficult otherwise to take a good photo with my kit. It is also a problem with the amound of wire etc in the way.
Truly amazing seeing/hearing them coming up under the bridge.... then braking at the top of the hill... incredible grip they have.

More F1 testing from last June... BTW I have never been to an F1 race, I don't think it is VFM. Seen other car races at Silverstone... gets boring after a while. IMO.

BTW entry to the testing is exceptional VFM coz it's free! Check out the track's website for when they next convene. They usually have all the teams there but not always the actual drivers... it is testing so you more likely will see their test drivers.

It is very difficult to see who is driving what. The numbers are so small and they are so far away so you can't really see their helmets etc.

First snap is off the telly - you can see Ally Pally in the background.

Nice pics - I agree going to races and qualifying is a waste of money - you see more on the TV anyway. Its a necessary thing though to go and see them in the flesh at least once - awesome experience.

I agree but it's just too much... we have been to see GTs (ALMS) and BTTC plus various support races and they are great for a while. But what you don't get from the TV is just how loud they are. Gives you a headache. I like live bands and jet planes etc but this is too much to endure all day, so the F1 test is a good way to see if you are going to like it.

Shiny Hands On: Electrolux's Screenfridge
http://www.shinyshiny.tv/2006/03/shiny_hands_on_.html
"LG just announced a TV fridge (more of that in a sec) and now Electrolux has produced this computer fridge complete with wireless internet connection. Prototypes have been knocking about for a while, but this is the first time a fridgefreezer with a computer on board has been unleashed on the buying public in the UK. Not that many people are going to be able to fit such an enormous product into their kitchen, nor afford the £5000 price tag that's attached. I saw it in action last night and you can find out what I thought of it (and see more pics) after the jump".

Various car pix from the TV - a jet car at a London car show, low flying jet off an advert, lastly more from Silverstone including my own vehicle in the car park... sadly not the red one, the PC in the background!
