SA Model Expo (Adel) 2007

Well what good are you then? Love the pics Wayne.

Strange in that is looks like it is dogged down with some sort of antenna on top. Any other ideas forum mates?

Amazing design, this boat weighed 100 tons and had a top speed of 43 knots, thats mighty fast. Thats 49.4mph really fast for a big heavy boat.

Hey thanks, Wayne. And just pulling your leg obviously. I too looked and couldn't find anything. I doubt its another AA mount. Too low for RADAR. Antenna too short for RF device. With it being dogged down in such a crude fashion, looks like it my just be an access way into the torpedo machinery?

wow great shots wayne!

That would have cost a bit, those bits can only come from other models, ie the engine and wheels.

The equipment yes. The engine and wheels are made by Classic Carlectables. Infact theres a guy on ebay who buys the 1:18 models and strips them down and sells the parts individually.

I bought a VK 1:18 Bathurst Winner peter Brock model and saw a few of those in bits for sale on there. I paid 200 for the model.

Still the fridge and that would have taken some making :D
They were charging 50 for the engine, 50 the set of wheels, etc.....
