SAAF F-51D Korea

So after avoiding my little boo boo on the F-51s wings... I decided to just accept it and move on. I couldnt face trying to remember the combination of Alclad shades (several different mixes) to try and repair the stupid mistake I made.

So I stuck the gear legs and gear doors on, realized I had to substitute some RR Merlin exhaust stacks for the Packard version (1 Packard one is AWOL at this time), and called it quits.

Then brought out some other SAAF warbirds for a quick shoot...

ArmouredSprue- its the Tamiya 1:48 P-51D boxing, with the prop blades I robbed from the F-51D box.

AT6- Thats ye olde grass mats that I bought at the local model railroad shop... I've got 3 different mats, and 2 different lengths.
