Just got some of them back today. This is just a sample of the Oshkosh 2007 airshow including the new paint scheme and configuration of what use to be the B-24 Diamond Lil now known as ol 927. I don't have the inside pictures developed yet. Its totally different on the inside and out side if you have ever been inside Diamond Lil.

Also is a picture of the WWII reenactment tent. The people who do this stay the whole week in these tents wearing cloths of the time period.

I cant think of there name's right now but the picture of the two in flight gear are real Tuskegee airmen of WWII. I should be ashamed of myself for not remembering. One is Weiss ?

Enjoy

OK fellas, tell me somethings wrong with my monitor....

I love the pics Mic, but they all seem alittle white, alittle too bright, almost like the angles u too them were against the reflection of the sun... Not being overcritical, just constructive....

Or just asking if my monitor is outta whack...

I think it may be an artifact of scanning pictures, or negatives. It can sometimes have a tendency to leave pictures looking a bit overexposed. That is one of the many reasons I gave up film, I could never get a scan to look anywhere near as good as the print.

Ive noticed the same thing, As Eric has said I think it has something to do with the coating on the pictures that reflect's the lights scan. The only reason I havent converted to digital is because I love to have the picture albums and I have never seen pictures printed out as nice.

Im thinking of going digital for next years airshow. Just not sure what kind of camera I will get.

Beside's can always use some advice from the pro's on how to improve them. Im always into improvement. Sad to say some of these warbirds will not be around forever. At least from a flying aspect.

I can tell you that nowadays, you can get photographic prints done cheaply that you can't tell were not done with a film camera. I recently used Walmart for some photo prints. I got 8x10s for about $2 each. Kodak also offers them inexpensively that you can pick up locally. I don't remember the pricing, but it was very reasonable.

Having photo albums is nice, but you can extend the reach of people who see your pictures by either making a website or using a site like photobucket or flicker.

If you need advice on digital camera gear, ask away.
