Well it certainly looks like a toilet. I was thinking of hanging some toilet roll on the wall.

Leaving the hull clamped up over night seems to have helped a little bit with the twist. I might try leaving it near a radiator today in the hope it untwists a bit more in the warmth.

Radiator sounds scary. Warm water and gentle manipulation might be the way to go.

Built the tail and started on the engine nacelles. Still working on the interior but the hull halves are ready for the wrestling match.

I haven't yet. What problem can you see apart from them not fitting which is like every other part in this kit

There's a lot of horrible work involving scalpels, files, filler and lots and lots of superglue gone into it. I am going to have nightmares that there will be a creaking noise and then a twang as all the twisted fuselage mouldings spring apart.

Weird that Valom would include a resin hull with a plastic kit.

I did a bit of googling and it turns out that both Valom and Czech Master Resin started work on a Cloud kit at the same time. Valom had started with the wing and CMR started with the hull. Rather than create competing kits they combined the Valom styrene wing with the CMR resin hull, the two small grey sprues containing the seats and a few other details are from another Czech manufacturers kit.

There's an amazing cottage industry of kit manufacturers in Czechia without them a lot of unusual subjects would never see the light of day. I can't see the likes of Tamiya making such a niche kit.

The tail didn't fit so after a bit of head scratching I decided to saw the hull join open and glue a plasticard spacer in. Unfortunately I cracked the resin but some milliput should come to the rescue.

I glued on the tail just need to fill the gap with more plasticard. The tail is still a bit askew but I compromised so that it shouldn't be too visible.

To get the top of the fuselage to fit I had to cut it into three sections as I couldn't do it in one go. I didn't have enough fingers

When I picked it up this morning and broke the tail off it very nearly got violent. A short maiden flight propelled by my boot.
