So far the DecalFix is not working. Anyone know of any household cleaning materials that might work ,🤪

After a nights drying time the transfers are sort of snugged down. I reckon several coats of clear should hide any gaps.

I had carefully painted the etched propeller boss and glued one in place, as I was gluing the second it flew off when I removed my tweezers. After about half an hour battling the carpet monster I gave up and punched a new one out of thick aluminium foil.

Painted and glued on I reckon you wouldn't spot the replacement unless it was pointed out.

very nicely done.

i always worry about decals not complying to surfaces and usually add softener far too often, though the decals on my 1/48 Ju52 worked and behaved perfectly !

Thanks I have no idea where the yellow rim roundel transfers came from they were quite thick and stiff. The other transfers came from an Xtradecal sheet apart from the serial numbers which came from the kit. They were nice and thin and went on beautifully with just warm water.

I am going to order some Ultimate model products extra strong decal solution just in case I ever need the firepower.
