I recently contacted the Archivo Histórico del Ejército del Aire (Spanish Air Force Historical Archive) for some fairly obscure information (parachute use among pilots on either side of the SCW). I expected to hear back in several months if I got anything at all. Instead, they replied in a couple of days with way more information than I expected. They can deal with queries in English, too. Consider this a five-star Yelp review.
