Hi,
Can anyone enlighten me on the gunsight used by the Israeli Mirage III in combat ? I understand that the original French gunsight had ranging with the Cyrano radar and that the Israelis found it useless under 10,000 feet. They seem to have jury rigged something -- whatever it was must have been effective as the record shows. Somebody told me that the jury rig sight wasn't even gyroscopic.
