Thanks - I changed the shading on the tail slightly, and now I'm happy with it.

Going to dig around and find some more squadrons now...

I was unhappy with the turrets which is why this thread has been inactive for a while, but I have finished/revised nine that I'm happy with now:

Stirling Mk I of 7 Squadron RAF 1941.

Stirling Mk I of 7 Squadron RAF 1941.

Stirling Mk I of 15 Squadron RAF 1941.

Stirling Mk I of 149 Squadron RAF 1941.

Stirling Mk I of 214 Squadron RAF 1942.

Stirling Mk III of 75 (NZ) Squadron RAF 1943.

Stirling Mk III of 90 Squadron RAF 1944.

Stirling Mk III of 199 Squadron RAF 1944.

Stirling Mk IV of 299 Squadron RAF 1944.

Version differences summary:

Mk I: No upper turret or small 2-gun turret, short air intakes, oil coolers in wings, 3 windows in nose.

Mk II: Prototypes only I think, with Wright-Cyclone engines.

Mk III: 4-gun upper turret, long air intakes, oil coolers below engines, 2 windows in nose, new arrangement of fuselage windows.

Mk IV: Forward turret removed and faired over, upper turret removed, glider towing attachment on rear fuselage.

Mk V: Transport version with no armament and new nose.

Hi

Small point - you have an MG plane as No15 squadron - shouldn't it be No.7 sqdn? I only point this out as I am researching an MG-D out of Oakington!

Nice work mate!

What is the serial number of the kiwi (75 sqn) bird -EP or F, 44 or 665? can't really make it out.
Also wanted to ask on what info you based your 488 sqn Beaufighter IIF scheme that I found on the net - thinking to model it.

Cheers!
Evan

The Stirling is EF465

The Beaufighter came from Wings Palette I think, so not a 100% dead cert.
