So just to clarify (for my own simple curiosity), "Krasno" didn't mean beautiful in old Russian? In modern Russian it means "red", but what about the old dialect?

I'm not contesting anything you say, I'm honestly just curious about this. I'm simple-minded like that.
 
Well I am not sure about that, defiitely "krasný" means "beautiful" in modern Czech.

Adler, if you're talking about the bus stops, they WERE built by the Commies.
